Fort Worth’s answer to North Haven Gardens in Dallas! This is truly the best garden center in Fort Worth, thanks to the staff’s incredible knowledge, thoughtful advice, and genuine assistance. They make gardening feel easy and enjoyable. In my opinion, it’s the Neiman Marcus of garden centers—an exceptional experience from start to finish!

Great little hidden gem in FtWorth. Vast selection of indoor/outdoor plants for various climates, ask a garden associate for help with your own space. Most were suited for the Texas climate, but some can be very finicky so be cautious of making a purchase that won't survive the space you have available in your garden/home. Pottery selection was very impressive and on point, something for everyone from the smallest bud vases to the largest hanging pots you will see in Texas. Proper "Texas" sized pottery we will call it y'all haha. I think Archie's is a staple for the gardening community, and I would love to see them have a much more extensive employee outreach group that spoke to people and helped them create the space they are there to fill. Being able to envision your personal garden laid out by an associate would increase ticket prices considerably, while helping those who might not know what can mix, and what wont work. There were a few areas where the inventory was low, I'm not sure if we came after a rush, if the Texas heat killed a bunch, or if they missed a truck from a supplier. Either way, there was plenty of options to get the job done.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Archie’s for about five years and have spent thousands of dollars there. When one of the three 7-gallon wax myrtles I purchased failed, I called and spoke with the manager. He told me there wasn’t a formal warranty but asked me to email photos of the shrubs so he could review the situation. I did exactly that but never received any response. I wasn’t expecting a refund. Even a simple reply or some advice would have been appreciated. If you’re going to ask a customer to take the time to send photos, the least you can do is respond. Unfortunately, the lack of follow-through and customer service is why I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Update: Archie’s Gardenland did eventually reach out to me by email regarding the 7-gallon wax myrtle that failed after purchase. Although they normally do not have a warranty on plants, I really appreciate that they reviewed the situation and gave me credit for the failed wax myrtle. I’m grateful they were willing to work with me and make it right. Thank you to Archie’s for the follow-up and customer service.

The plant selection and quality here are above average and the employees are always knowledgeable and helpful. I was an Heirloom regular, and would love to see something similar comes back in the future! As a pet owner, I do hope the rumors of the missing animals are addressed and are untrue. While I completely understand the need to keep inventory sellable, I hope a humane resolution is in the works.

If you love plants, this place is a dream. Knowledgeable staff, beautiful selection, and such a peaceful environment. It’s hard to leave without bringing something home.
